Alexander Kwabena, a farm labourer at Nkrankwanta near Dormaa-Ahenkro, has been remanded for stealing a motor cycle valued at GHC800.00.
Kwabena allegedly stole the motor-bike belonging to Nana Asare Bediako at Aboabo Number Two with the assistance of a friend identified only as Francois who is at large.
Inspector Charles Agovi told the court presided by Mr. Alexander Osei Tutu that on January 31 the complainant parked the motor-bike at his apartment at Aboabo Number Two and retired to bed.
He said the next day the complainant had a tip-off that two boys had been seen riding on a motor-bike of his type heading towards Nkrankwanta.
The prosecutor said security men at the various barriers were alerted about the missing motor-bike but the suspects evaded them and took it to Nkrankwanta where it was identified by Bediako’s brother.
