He expressed worry that service personnel have to look for accommodation and were not motivated.
Mr. Mahama, National President of the Association, made the call in a statement released to the Ghana News Agency at Wa on Friday.
He said that the relationship between personnel and management of some organisations was not cordial as the personnel were always at the
receiving end with some being made redundant.
Mr. Mahama, commended Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and National Health Insurance Scheme for creating good working environment for service personnel, and making good use of them.
“It is our hope that the institutions that maltreat, mishandle and bastardize service personnel will turn a green leaf for mutual gains. As service personnel, we are ready to serve as our slogan goes, but institutions should be ready to support us to serve”.
