Nene Kabu Abebleh II, Chief of Ningo Citizens resident in the Ashaiman Municipality, has advised his people to co-exist peacefully with the people of Ashaiman to help to accelerate the development of the area.
His people, he said, should, therefore, be law-abiding in order not to come into conflict with the law.
Nene Abebleh gave the advice when he spoke to newsmen on the development agenda of Ningo citizens resident in the Municipality.
He cited the construction of a recreational centre and a bus stop as some of the projects to be initiated in the town.
Nene Kabu Abebleh expressed concern about the perennial water shortage in the town and urged the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing to come to their aid.
He also appealed to the Ministry of Roads and Highways to help to construct the road from Ningo to Tsopoli to link them to the main Accra-Aflao road.
Nene Abebleh said the chiefs and people would use the forthcoming Homowo Festival in the last week of August to plan development programmes to give the town a facelift.
He, therefore, appealed to Ningo citizens both far and near to come home so that collectively they could think about how to develop their traditional area.
Manye Marku Ningoyoe, Queen-mother of Ningo citizens resident in Ashaiman, urged them to do away with divisive and negative tendencies.
