The Anglican Bishop of Kumasi, the Right Reverend Dr Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, has admonished Christians to lead simple, modest and sacrificial lives.
This, he said, would not only help them to serve God in truth and in spirit but also enable them to become good examples to rest of the
society.
He was delivering his Good Friday message at the Saint Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral in Kumasi.
Bishop Yinkah Sarfo said it was his prayer that God would grant Christians the spirit to follow Christ’s patience and humility, demonstrated on his way to the cross and be partakers of the resurrection.
He asked them to be obedient and law-abiding and to promote unity and reconciliation among the people.
“Christ’s dying on the cross brings to mankind the eternal gift of salvation”, he added.
