The College of Health Sciences of the University of Ghana has rolled-out series of activities to mark the 70th Anniversary celebration of the university. The College of Health Sciences has therefore put together activities including healthy educative programmes to mark the anniversary, Mr Augustine Amissare, Chairman of the 70th Anniversary Sub-Committee stated in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday.
The activities include radio and television health talk shows, health walk, blood donation to be conducted at both Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and Legon Campus, medical and dental outreach. According to the statement the medical and dental outreach has been scheduled for Friday, September 21st, 2018 at Mantse Agbonaa between the hours of 9:00 to 17:00.
The anniversary would hit its climax with the College of Health Sciences’ Biennial Scientific conference. It said the rationale behind this celebration is to bring all past students, continuing students and the public to join the school have a good time and also promote good health among people.
