Adehye 75 Alumni group of Okuapeman School have donated 50 desktop computers to their alma mater’s ICT laboratory to enhance digital learning at the school.
The donation is also part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the school, which is on the theme: “Giving back to move forward.”
Presenting the computers on behalf of the group at a thanksgiving service held on the premises of the school at Akropong, the president of the Adehye group, Patience Mensah Nunoo, said the amount for the procurement of the computers was through fund-raising and individual contributions of the members of the group based at home and abroad.
“The donation reflects our commitment to education, progress and the legacy of Okuapeman School,” she said, adding that the group had also initiated other initiatives to support the school’s development.”
She emphasised the importance of bridging the digital divide and equipping the next generation with tools for success in an increasingly tech-driven world.
The headmaster of the school, Rev. Richard Koranteng Afari, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the alumni, noting that the new ICT equipment would provide students with greater access to digital tools, enhance teaching and learning, and prepare them for global competitiveness.

The anniversary celebrations started with a grand dinner dance held on May 23, 2025. The event attracted past students, patrons and supporters of the Okuapeman School.
