The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has continued to receive members of the Diplomatic Corps for the signing of the Book of Condolence opened in honour of the helicopter crash victims.
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, representatives from 17 diplomatic missions and international organisations visited the Ministry to express their solidarity and sympathies.
The missions included: the High Commission of the Republic of Zambia, International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC), Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Embassy of the State of Libya, Honorary Consulate of Seychelles, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan, Embassy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Embassy of the State of Palestine, High Commission of Malaysia, Embassy of the Russian Federation, Embassy of the United States of America, High Commission of the Republic of Kenya, Embassy of the Czech Republic, and the Royal Danish Embassy.
The solemn occasion honoured the memory of Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed (MP), Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Baafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah — distinguished individuals who served the nation with dedication and sacrifice.
Officials from the Ministry expressed appreciation to the diplomatic community for their show of solidarity during this period of national mourning.
