Parents have been advised to re-heat left-over foods very well before they give to their school-going children for breakfast.
Madam Fati Gariba, a Community Health Nurse at Bekwai, who gave the advice, said left-over foods, which were kept till the next morning, if not well heated before they were given to children, made them ill.

Madam Gariba said sometimes left-over foods might not be stored well and by the following morning the food might have already gone bad, either partially or completely.
She said to safeguard the health of children; parents should have time to cook fresh food for their children every morning before they go to school.
