Six communities have benefited from a three-unit classroom block with office and store each worth GH¢216,000, which was provided by the Krachi East District Assembly (KEDA) with collaboration from the World Vision International (WVI), Ghana Chapter.
The communities were Yariga, Kwame Akuraa, Kparekpare, Kpelema, Dormabin and Motorway.
At separate commissioning ceremonies of the blocks on Wednesday, Mr Michael Yaw Gyato, District Chief Executive (DCE) of KEDA reiterated government's resolve of distributing the national resources fairly and mainstreaming the contribution of private sector actors in the development process.
He said government believed in upgrading the human resource base of Ghanaians and this could only be achieved by providing equal opportunities for the masses irrespective of where they live.
Mr Gyato entreated parents to take the opportunity provided by the facilities to invest in their children and complement government's effort at providing quality education.
The DCE called for support for government to enable it continued with the good projects and programmes it had started.
He urged the beneficiary communities to visualize the projects as theirs in other to sustain and maintain the blocks to prolong their lifespan for posterity.
The chiefs and head teachers of the six communities, thanked KEDA and WVI for their benevolence and pledged to maintain the structures.
Mr Sylvannus Sedoamedah, a teacher at Motorway Primary School indicated that, the new blocks had brought relieve to the five communities in the area, that otherwise would have journeyed several kilometres to attend school.
He appealed to individuals, corporate entities and non-governmental organizations to assist the schools with furniture to improve teaching and learning.
