The Reverend Prophet Ernest Obeng, General Overseer of the Mount Zion Prayer Ministry International, has called on political parties, to bury their differences and rally behind the government, to ensure national development.
He said now that the General Election was over there was the need for the parties, to champion the cause of unity, since there would be no development in disunity.
Rev. Prophet Obeng made the call at the opening of a week revival of the church at Abeka, in Accra on Tuesday.
About 500 participants are attending the revival, which is on the theme:
"The Secret Key to unlock the Shuttered Door."
Commenting on the recent spate of road accidents, Rev. Prophet Obeng called on drivers to be extra careful in order to save lives and property.
He urged them to respect road signs and avoid driving when tired or under the influence of alcohol, which he said were some of the factors that contributed to the accidents.
The General Overseer also advised the youth, to be addicted to the word of God and refrain from the get-rich-quick attitude, which he said would ruin their lives in future.
He asked them to be open-minded and have faith in God, whom he said, would improve upon their lives if they pray to him.
