The Ejisu police has arrested Mr. Mathew Awuni an Assistant Store Keeper of the Ejisu-Juabeng Municipal Education Directorate on an alleged charge of stealing.
He is accused of stealing 50 Primary Five English Text books, which were to be given to public schools free of charge in the municipality.
Mr. Awuni was apprehended when one officer at the Education Directorate spotted a young man claiming to be a teacher at Nana Abrafi Educational Complex at Fumesua holding the said books, which he claimed was given to him by the accused.
