A block of six-classrooms, two offices and stores and a library built under the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) for the Tabere Methodist Primary School in the Atwima Nwabiagya District at a cost of GH¢74,000 has been inaugurated.
The project, executed in nine months, was constructed by Messrs Kayak Enterprise Limited, based in Kumasi.
Mr. Benito Owusu-Bio, Member of Parliament for the area, expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of the town for releasing land for the project as well as the Methodist Church for its support for the project.
He said efforts were being made to lend his support towards the rehabilitation of an existing block to accommodate Junior High School pupils.
Mr Owusu-Bio pledged to donate five computers and accessories to enhance teaching of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the school.
Nana Akuma Ababio, Chief of Tabere, thanked the Member of Parliament and the Methodist Church for their concern for the school.
