The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is to hold a training course for Angolan farmers in Angola's central Huambo province from Thursday to Saturday.
During the three-day training course, the FAO officials will divulge new land law to Angolans under the Land Project funded by the European Commission (EC).
A total of 38 Angolan citizens, including farmers, agro-technicians and students of the Angolan School of Agrarian Sciences, will benefit from the training course which is held in partnership with the Action of Rural and Environment Development (ADRA).
According to the FAO representative office in Angola, the course will enrich the trainees the knowledge about the land law with a view to guaranteeing a greater fusion of the land law in the country's 18 provinces.
The course will have as themes the new land law as well as the existing laws on land including the Main Principles Consecrated on Land Law, the Land Rights Consecrated on Land Law, the Resolution of Land Law and the Processes of Land Registration.
