Health Foundation of Ghana is working at Tano North, Tano South, Asutifi and Asunafo north and Asunafo South districts.
Madam Saaka said the NGOs are to undertake house-to-house campaigns and also collaborate with religious leaders, chiefs and teachers to enable them meet their targets.
"They will also promote the formation of abstinence clubs in communities and organise quiz competitions and fun games in schools to encourage the youth to shun away from illicit sexual practices", she said.
Briefing the committee on the HIV/AIDS situation in the district, Madam Eva Agbodo Saku, Nkoranza District public health nurse, said 206 people were detected living with the virus from January to June this.
She said the figure came out from a number of 2,566 people and patients who were tested at the Saint Theresa's Hospital at Nkoranza.
