Algerian Health Ministry confirmed on Wednesday a new A/H1N1 fatality, bringing to four the total number of deaths caused by the novel flu virus.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the ministry said a 37-years-old man from Constantine, 400 km northeast of capital Algiers, died of the new virus which was caught by 335 people since its outbreak in the country.
Algeria reported the first A/H1N1 fatalities on Friday, nearly four months after the virus started to spread in the country.
The health ministry says the detected infections were almost among people coming from Spain, the United States, France, Britain and Saudi
Arabia, affirming that other than the four victims, all cases have recovered and left hospitals.
