Eleven (11) people have joined the race for Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). They include a physically challenged, who has been running his own successful business, the presiding member of the assembly and constituency officials of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
This was confirmed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by a well-placed source at the party’s constituency office. He said things were being done transparently and that all application letters had been sent to the Ashanti regional office of the party.
This is the first time, the municipality is seeing such a high number of people, putting themselves up for consideration of appointment to the position of MCE.
