Mr Isaac Badita, Communications Officer of the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency in a congratulatory message, said the people of the constituency also recognised the various national peace awards bestowed on Mr Bagbin in recent times and wished him well in all his life and development endeavours.

Mr Bagbin who is an NDC Member of Parliament for the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency, had been awarded “Government Peace Award”, “Community Spirit Peace Award”, “Humanitarian and Service Peace Award” and Parliamentary Peace Award” in recent times by Ghana Peace awards, a civil society organisation.

The statement emphasised that the awards were to celebrate and appreciate the culture of peace in “our body politics and culture as Ghanaians”.“With all these successes for Mr Bagbin, we have nothing more to say than to give thanks and praises to the Almighty God for his blessings”, the statement read.

It described Nadowli/Kaleo Member of Parliament as a grassroots man, simple, affable and down to earth personality in the constituency and also, served as a mentor to many youth of the constituency and beyond.Mr Bagbin is also a father for the fatherless and a voice for the voiceless of the constituency and the NDC fraternity.

Mr Badita said the message was meant to acknowledge Mr Bagbin of his good works towards humanity and his development efforts in the constituency as well as his contribution towards democracy in Ghana.The statement also congratulated NDC minority members in Parliament, especially those in leadership roles for the good work that they were doing to ensure good governance and democracy in Ghana.
