“I’m an elderly person and looking at these small, small problems I hope to clear those ones.” The newly elected chairman indicated. He urged the other contestants to forget about the results of the election because it was the NDC party that won and not an individual and asked them to support the activities of the party to win back the confidence of the general public towards returning to power in the next election.
He stated that under his leadership, he would ensure that the action plans that had already been developed by the party for the constituency including campaign rallies in all the zones were implemented in phases from now till 2020.
Due to some challenges the Bolgatanga Central Constituency NDC was among some of the constituencies in the country that could not organise their constituency elections earlier. The polls attracted party members including; Mr Isaac Adongo, the Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Mr Abraham Amaliba, a Private Legal Practitioner who provides legal services to the Party and Mr Emmanuel Opam-Brown Akolbire, a former Member of Parliament for the Constituency.
