He emphasised the importance of close collaboration with the Assembly’s management and all members to ensure the effective implementation of its activities. 

Mr Ahiable, who also serves as the Assembly Member for the Avenorpedo Electoral Area, gave the assurance after retaining the Presiding Member position for a third consecutive term. 

The election, supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission, recorded 32 votes out of the 42 eligible voters in favour of Mr Ahiable, while his sole contender, Mr Amuzu Kale, the Assembly Member for the Atsiekpui Electoral Area, obtained 10 votes. 

In his acceptance speech, Mr Ahiable, who is serving his constituents for the fourth consecutive term as an Assembly Member, called for unity among his colleagues to help place the Municipality on a sustainable path of growth. 

Following the renewal of his mandate, Mr Ahiable, a professional teacher, recalled that he first assumed office as Presiding Member on September 16, 2022, and successfully retained the position again on February 12, 2024.
