A group calling itself the Concerned Citizens of Bongo District, have commended President John Dramani Mahama, for nominating Dr Nsoh Avea Ephraim as the Upper East Regional Minister designate.
A statement signed by spokesperson for the group, Mr Maclean Ayamga, copied the GNA on Monday; said members were gladdened by the choice of Dr Nsoh Avea Ephraim, who is well-known by many people in the region for his selflessness, dedication to duty, peaceful conduct and his commitment to the advancement of humanity.
The group promised to support the NDC, and the Upper East Minister designate if, his nomination is approved by the Appointments' Committee of Parliament, to ensure the attainment of government's Better Ghana agenda.
The statement said: "We also want to use this occasion to congratulate President John Dramani Mahama for his one touch victory in the 2012 General Election".
