Chelsea retain top spot but Sevilla's defeat means there has been plenty of movement below the Premier League leaders.
1. Chelsea (no change)
After a routine win vs. Brentford in the FA Cup, Chelsea dropped points at Liverpool in the Premier League, as Diego Costa missed a penalty. However, Antonio Conte's side enjoy a nine-point at the top, thanks to most of the teams below them also failing to win.
2. Juventus (+1)
Thanks to their 2-0 win at Sassuolo -- Gonzalo Higuain scored his 15th league of the season -- and Roma's defeat at Sampdoria, Juve have a four-point lead in Serie A, as well as a game in hand. Next for Max Allegri's men is a Derby d'Italia showdown with Inter.
3. Real Madrid (+1)
Just as Juventus pulled further clear, so did Real Madrid. After Barcelona draw and Sevilla were beaten, the Liga leaders eased past Real Sociedad, with Cristiano Ronaldo among the scorers in a 3-0 victory. Celta Vigo away this weekend will be tough, though.
4. Bayern Munich (+1)
For the second week in a row, Bayern faced a tricky away game and, for the second week in a row, emerged with a 2-1 win. At Werder Bremen, Arjen Robben and David Alaba were the scorers as Carlo Ancelotti's claimed a seventh straight Bundesliga win.
5. Barcelona (+2)
Luis Suarez has scored in each of Barcelona's last four games.
Their draw at Real Betis was overshadowed by a controversial disallowed goal, which highlighted the need for video technology in Spanish football. Barcelona needed to be better in the Copa del Rey semifinal first leg at Atletico Madrid and they were, securing a 2-1 win.
6. Benfica (no change)
After four straight wins, Benfica have now won just one of their last three league games, allowing Porto to move within one point of them at the top. Rui Vitoria's side suffered just their second defeat of the season last weekend, going down 1-0 to Vitoria Setubal.
7. Sevilla (-5)
You know it's going to be a long day when you have a player sent off after two minutes and go behind after four. So it was for Sevilla, who fell to a 3-1 defeat at Espanyol that saw their five-game Liga winning run end and dropped them down one place to third.
8. RB Leipzig (+2)
They fell behind to the only remaining unbeaten side in Europe's top five leagues but RB Leipzig hit back against Hoffenheim to earn a 2-1 win. Up next is a difficult trip to Dortmund, but Ralph Hassenhuttl's side beat BVB in September and could do so again.
9. Monaco (no change)
Bernardo Silva's injury-time goal earned Monaco a point at Paris Saint-Germain and means they stay top of Ligue 1, on goal difference from Nice, who they host this weekend. Monaco also moved into the last 16 of the French Cup in midweek.
10. Olympiakos (new)
The Greek champions are well on course to winning their eighth straight title. Olympiakos, who have dropped just nine points in 18 league games this season, lead second-placed PAOK by 13 points and most recently won 2-1 at Veria.
Dropping out: Roma.
