Mr. Frank Nelson, Board Member of the Accra Hearts of Oak has said the team is on the brink of reviving its fortunes in the Ghana Premier League to win the trophy.
He said they were bent on taking themselves out of the difficulties that engulfed the club last season and go ahead to annex the trophy this season.
"Its over eight years, since we won the trophy, therefore we are poised to win and we believe that hard work is required to restore our glory," he said.
Speaking to GNA Sports, after their match with Inter Allies on Monday, Mr Nelson said all the teams were putting in efforts to win and the best team would definitely excel at the end of the tournament.
"Every team is good and wants to win, showing strength and doing their best.
"We have not seen Wa All Stars winning the league before, but we saw them taking the trophy home last season. I will not write any team off, we are all in for the trophy and Phobians are focused on making a difference this season” he added.
On the new coach, Mr Nelson said he believed the Scottish would deliver when given all the necessary support and logistics required were provided.
Mr Nelson also commended the players for a good play against Inter Allies saying, "I’m impressed by the performance, it was fantastic especially in a situation where we had new technical directions, goalkeeper trainers and Head coach.”
The players did very well particularly keeper Ben Mensah who everybody applauded for a good performance.
He entreated fans to give the team the maximum support to excel this season.
