Hearts of Oak in a 5 goal thriller beat Ebusua Dwarfs by 3:2 at the Cape Coast stadium to book a slot at the semis with a goal from Christopher Bonney, and a brace from Richard Zuma for Accra Hearts of Oak and one goal each from Stephen Bentil and Joseph Esso for Ebusua Dwarfs.

Both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak needed a win to advance to the next stage of the 8 clubs tournament after they lost their second games to Dreams FC and Medeama SC respectively in Kumasi and Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
