Immigration Ladies would chase their first win of the season, as they battle Hasaacas Ladies in the Southern zone of match-day-two FreshPak National Women’s League (NWL) at Bompe Park in Tarkoradi on Saturday.
Immigration ladies, who lost 0-1 to Sea Lions in match-day one will travel to play away to Hassacas ladies who beat Halifax ladies by a lone goal.
The assistant coach of Immigration ladies Douglas Addy who was disappointed with the score line stated that, his charges would pick positives from the match and win all their subsequent matches and march on to win the league.
Addy’s charges who consists of majority of players in the Black Queens including goal keeper Patricia Mantey, Rosemary Ampem, Leticia Zipki would
have to devise a strategy to pick an away win over Hassacas Ladies.
At the Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC), Samaria Ladies who displayed an impressive performance when they played Lady Strikers in Cape Coast would come up against Police ladies.
Samaria Ladies have a dicey duel at hand as their opponent posted a 2-0 win Soccer Intellectuals.
Elsewhere, Halifax Ladies will take on LadyStrikers at the Comm 4 TDC Park in Tema. LadyStrikers drew 1-1 with Samaria Ladies and with the target of winning the league, the former hope to amass the maximum points when they play Halifax ladies who lost their opening match whilst Sealions lock horns with Soccer Intellectuals.
In the Northern Zone, Prisons Ladies who went away to wipe-out Ashtown Ladies with a 4-0 drubbing over the weekend would host Northern Ladies on Saturday at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday. Northern ladies beat Supreme Ladies 3-1 win and a win for both sides would put them on six points as both sides won their opening matches.
Debutants Pearl Pia Ladies will welcome Ashtown Ladies at the BATCO Field whilst Fabulous Ladies clash with the defending Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Wesley College Park and Kumasi Sports Academy playing Supreme Ladies Ladies at the Prempeh College in Sunyani on Sunday.
