Ghana’s contingent at the 2018 Commonwealth Games is expected to arrive on Friday, 20 April, 2018, following the completion of the games.
The 14-day multiple-sport event, which saw various Commonwealth countries compete for honours in different sporting disciplines, saw Ghana presenting a total of 72 athletes competing in 12 disciplines.
Ghana managed only one medal, with Jessie Lartey winning the only medal, which fell short of the five medals, Ghana won at the last Games in Glassgow, Scotland.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that, the team would be met by Mr. Isaac Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports, at the Kotoka International Airport.
