James Kwasi Appiah, head of the senior national team, Black Stars, has called on the playing body of Kotoko, to approach their clash against the Kariobangi Sharks with all the seriousness it deserves.
The Porcupine Warriors lock horns with their Kenya counterparts in the second leg encounter of the 2018/19 Confederation Cup slated for the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
According to coach Appiah who played for the Porcupine Warriors in the 80's, the task ahead remains a daunting one despite the positive results achieved in
the first leg of the encounter.
He said Kotoko must avoid any form of complacency and should be wary of the threat from their opponents.
He also urged the fans of Kotoko to troop to the stadium in their numbers to support the team.
Kotoko would be looking to avoid another early elimination in Africa's club competition after being axed by BYC, El Ehouma, CARA Club, Bejaia, among others.
