Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor, has named his 18-man squad travelling to Zambia for their Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Confederation Cup game on Sunday, February 24.
The Porcupine Warriors would be hosted by Nkana FC in the match-day three of the group games for the 2018/19 Confederation Cup in Kitwe at 15:00 GMT.
The day three matches this weekend, would determine who stays on top of the group with all group members tied on three points and only separated on goal difference.
Ahead of this crucial weekend, CK Akunnor has made two changes in his team that played Zesco United last Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Experienced midfielder Jordan Opoku has been recalled (having played a little role so far in the campaign) to replace injured Richard Senanu.
But as indicated by Akonnor earlier, newly signed Ivorian striker, Dany Zabo Teguy would have to wait more days to adapt to the philosophy of his new club and so would the trip.
Coach Akonnor has maintained under-fire striker Songne Yacouba in the squad with Naby Keita and Abdul Fatawu complimenting the attack.
The squad includes two goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and three strikers.
Kotoko are expected to leave the shores of Ghana on Wednesday, February 20 and transit in Ethiopia, before landing in the South African country on Thursday.
Herewith the squad for the trip;
Goalkeepers: Felix Annan, Muntari Tagoe,
Defenders: Amos Frimpong, Augustine Sefah, Wahab Adams, Agyemang Badu, Abdul Ganiu, Habib Mohammed,
Midfielders: Kwame Bonsu, Umar Bashiru, Stephen Nyarko, Jordan Opoku, Martin Antwi, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Maxwell Baako.
