Right now in the world, not much is certain and we have no idea when Scottish football will return.
What we do know is that a host of players have contracts, or loan deals, due to finish at the end of May, with some predicting the season may run into the summer before being completed.
BBC Scotland has compiled a Premiership starting XI from those who will soon see their current terms expire that clubs may want to hold on to for an extra few months if needed...
Fraser Forster: The man dubbed the Great Wall by Celtic fans has been sensational since returning to Parkhead on loan from Southampton. Across all competitions 17 clean sheets have been kept. While Celtic have a comfortable lead in the league, they face losing Forster and Craig Gordon this summer.
Stephen O'Donnell: Since July 2017, the right-back has made more than 1000 appearances for Kilmarnock, earned a glut of Scotland caps and helped his club to their highest league finish since 1966. The 27-year-old rejected a contract offer earlier in the season and may well leave Ayrshire soon, but will he be here long enough to see the season out?
Peter Hartley: Motherwell have roared into third place in the top flight but at least one influential member of their team might not be around much longer. As it stands, their captain is out of contract in just a few weeks. The 31-year-old central defender will surely have a number of options to pick from, but Motherwell will be keen he sticks around long enough if the fight for a Europa League spot is to continue.
Christophe Berra: The Hearts captain has found himself surplus to requirements at Tynecastle under manager Daniel Stendel. Now on loan at Championship at Dundee, the 35-year-old has yet to taste defeat in Dark Blue. Dundee are currently in third hoping to consolidate a Premiership play-off spot, will he still be on Tayside to see that mission through to its conclusion?
Jonny Hayes: Once upon a time, the Irishman was one of the sharpest attacking talents in country as a winger for Aberdeen. These days, at 32, he has convincingly transformed himself at Celtic into a player who can play anywhere on the left flank. He has made 26 appearances for the Premiership leaders this term, mostly at left-back. What will the future hold for the Irishman beyond May?
Steven Lawless: Part of the reason Livingston find themselves fifth in the Scottish Premiership is the eight goals and six assists the diminutive midfielder has provided in 27 games for Gary Holt's side. For a team who predominantly rely on their defensive solidity, such an attacking threat has proved crucial. If the season is played to a conclusion, his involvement may be pivotal in turning a fine season into an amazing one.
Gary Dicker: Another club captain who could be on his way out is the Kilmarnock midfielder. Although 33, the Irishman remains a formidable force and has been a crucial element of the squad both on and off the pitch at Rugby Park.
Stephane Omeonga: The man on loan from Genoa has been in and out of the team during a second spell at Easter Road, while his busy style and ready smile have made him popular with fans. Manager Jack Ross is pushing for a top-six place and will be keen to keep hold of the 24-year-old Belgian if the season is extended.
Ianis Hagi: The son of Romanian legend Gheorghe has already become a major hit at Ibrox since arriving on loan in January from Genk. His biggest contribution to date of course came in the Europa League when his double against Braga helped Steven Gerrard's men to Europa League progression. While the chances of seeing off Bayer Leverkusen hang by a thread, Rangers will be keen they keep hold of the 21-year-old and have an exclusive option to buy.
Christopher Long: Having arrived from Blackpool in the summer as something of a lower-league journeyman in England, the striker has settled in well at Motherwell, with 11 goals and four assists in 31 games. Will they be able to convince him to stay?
Marc McNulty: Another Hibernian recruit on a loan deal, the Scotland international has readjusted to live in Leith. On loan from Reading, McNulty's deal is due to expire at the end of May. Will he get the chance to add to his four goals north of the border this term?
