Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says his side need a "regular goalscorer" after their 0-0 Scottish Premiership draw away to St Johnstone.
Sam Cosgrove had the best chance of an uneventful match, heading straight at home goalkeeper Zander Clark.
Callum Davidson's side remain in ninth place but have now extended their unbeaten run to six matches.
Aberdeen remain in third place, but McInnes says they need more quality in the final third.
"We're just searching for that bit of quality, somebody that's going to make the difference for us," he told BBC Scotland.
"We got in some good areas. Matty Kennedy was outstanding the first-half, he was really carrying the fight.
"But, at the end of the day, it still comes to that last bit. We're searching for somebody to go and be that regular goalscorer for us."

You would have been forgiven for expecting this game to feature a few goals given the recent form of both sides.
St Johnstone's last four games have featured 10 in total, including their convincing Scottish League Cup semi-final win over Hibernian at the weekend. Aberdeen's previous four matches also featured 10 goals.
In fact, the last time these two sides drew 0-0 was December 2016, but it was clear from very early on that this game would be no classic.
Aberdeen centre-half Tommie Hoban's accidental clash of heads with team-mate Ross McCrorie inside the first 10 minutes did nothing to help the tempo, with the former receiving lengthy treatment before being substituted.
The first half mainly saw two sides so focussed on pressing their opponent and maintaining their shape without the ball, that when they actually won it back, they did not really know what to do with it.
Aberdeen managed to create the first significant chance as Kennedy - who was their brightest spark - picked out Cosgrove with a cross, but the forward could not test Clark.
St Johnstone hit back with an attempt of their own, but Michael O'Halloran's header from Craig Conway's delivery missed the target.
The second half featured slightly more attacking intent as the game became stretched. Cosgrove again found himself in a promising position, but his shot was blocked by Craig Bryson, before Kennedy had a curling effort tipped over the bar by Clark.
The hosts looked the more likely to win it late on, with Glenn Middleton - making his debut off the bench after joining on loan from Rangers - testing goalkeeper Joe Lewis for the first time in the final minute.

What did we learn?
For St Johnstone, it is a tough result to judge. Their buoyant mood after reaching for a League Cup final remains, while a point at home to a strong opponent would not usually be scoffed at.
They are well-drilled, defend very well and are keeping clean sheets. The lack of goals, however, is a concern. They have scored five at home in the league all season. That is five in 13 matches.
With three consecutive away games to come - including a trip to Ibrox - they could do with picking up wins sooner rather than later.
For Aberdeen, it was a rather uninspiring performance, but it was also a game that they will feel they should have won.
They could really do with Cosgrove finding some form. The striker has struggled for goals since coming back from a serious injury and the Cosgrove of old may well have left Perth with a brace.
What did they say?
St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson: "I wouldn't say it was the prettiest game in the world.
"I thought it was a good point. We just need to turn the points into wins, but Aberdeen are a top quality side, they've got a lot of top quality players and they're third in the league for a reason."
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "We're just searching for that bit of quality, somebody that's going to make the difference for us.
"The effort of the team, the commitment… there was some good stuff played on a difficult surface. Unfortunately for us we have to take a point and move on."
What next?
Next up for St Johnstone is a trip to face Kilmarnock on Saturday (15:00 GMT), while Aberdeen are at Livingston at the same time.
