Ghana forward Inaki Williams is celebrating his decade run at Athletic Bilbao with Friday, December 6, 2024 marking exactly the first time Williams played for his hometown club.
The anniversary comes in the wake of Bilbao’s fine run in the 2024-2025 season where the club is yet to lose in eight games in all competitions and recently beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the Spanish La Liga.
In his time at Bilbao, the 30 year old Black Stars player has played a staggering 441 games and has missed just three games with all coming through injury and non through suspension.
In 15 La Liga games, Williams has three goals and four assists to his credit and his fine form earned him a League Player of the Month nomination in September.
Reacting to the big achievement, Williams stated on his X (formerly Twitter) page, “10 years fulfilling a dream. Remember where you started and where you are. Thank you all for joining me.”
