Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club remain the only unbeaten team in the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League season but head coach Abdul Karim Zito and his players have come under scrutiny for not picking up wins in recent outings.
The club has three draws and a win in the last four games heading into its clash against Basake Holy Stars on Wednesday, November 26 in Ayinase.
The Porcupine Warriors rank fourth in the league with 20 points but trail league leaders Aduana Stars by three points and Kotoko fans aren’t happy the club has missed out on multiple opportunities to be at the league’s summit but Karim Zito says he takes the criticism in good faith.
“Everybody wants to beat Kotoko it’s a fact. When you are in Kotoko, you have to be prepared for everything, every situation.”

“So many criticisms, some for, some against but I have to stand…and take it in good faith because this is Asante Kotoko” Zito said.
