Mrs Elizabeth Amoah Tetteh, the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Twifo-Atti-Morkwa, has appealed to the electorate to vote massively for her to continue her pragmatic socio-economic development.
Mrs Amoah- Tetteh, who made the appeal when she launched her campaign at Twifo Praso, said the NDC was the only party that had ensured effective, efficient, comprehensive and pragmatic socio-economic development in the area, since the country attained independence.
She enumerated projects undertaken in the NDC era such as the construction of district assembly block, district hospital, dual bridge, a modern market and the extension of electricity from Cape Coast to Twifo Praso.
Touching on her personal contributions towards development in the area through her share of the MP's Common Fund, she said she had supplied sports equipment to the district basic sports team and to each of the seven zones in her constituency.
She also mentioned building materials to rehabilitate schools, a photocopier to the Twifo Praso Senior High School and payment of admission fees to some students as some of things she had done.
The NDC, she said had therefore laid the foundation for development hence the reason why they should vote for her and Professor Evans Atta Mills, the party's presidential candidate.
Mrs Amoah-Tetteh appealed to chiefs not to engage in partisan politics but rather should vote based on their living standards.
He prayed that God would guide the electorate into choosing leaders who were God fearing, obedient, humble, peace makers, truthful and honest.
