Mr Anthony Bassaw, the National Democratic Congres(NDC) parliamentary candidate for Mpohor Wassa East, has said he would render selfless, honest, committed and dedicated service to his constituents if he was given the mandate.
Addressing an NDC rally Mpohor, he said he would put all
human resources in the area together irrespective of gender, tribe, religion and political party affiliations to ensure that the area progresses.
Mr Bassaw paid tribute to the late Mr. Stephen Krakue, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party who hail from Mpohor, and said he would live by his good example.
He said Mr Krakue never discriminated against the people on partisan lines and made sure every human potential was tapped for the benefit of the community.
Mr Bassaw expressed sadness at the failure of the NPP leadership in the town to live by the example of the late Mr Krakue and accused them of dividing the ranks of people.
Mr Bassaw called on the people to vote for the NDC's Prof John Atta Mills "because he is the only person who has the capacity and capability to transform the nation through honest, transparent and accountable leadership."
