Mr Solomon Djaba-Mensah, Eastern Regional chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), on Thursday appealed to teachers to ensure peace in the presidential runoff on December 28.
He asked them to consider the election as a national duty and to turn out in their numbers to exercise their franchise.
Mr Djaba-Mensah, who was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Koforidua, reminded teachers that GNAT was a non-political organization and that they should vote according to their conscience.
