Mr Andrews Donkor, Senya East General Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to party faithful in the area to retain Dr Nuhu Adams, incumbent NDC Member of Parliament in the December 2012 general election.
He said Dr Adams had played instrumental role during his four year tenure, leading to the elevation of Kasoa into a municipal status.
Addressing a gathering of supporters of the party at Asempa Down, a suburb of the constituency, he said the elevation of the town was in line with the MPs personal efforts aimed at accelerating development.
Mr Donkor said if the people renew the mandate of Dr Adams, he would continue his good works at ensuring improvement in the road network and water supply.
He asked NDC supporters to embark on house to house campaign to educate supporters about the policies of the ahead of the December 7 elections.
Dr Adams pledged to implement more development projects if he is given a second term in office.
