Dr Edward Omane- Boamah, former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, has been assigned the responsibility of coordinating Ghana's participation in the 2013 Africa Nations Cup Tournament in South Africa.
A statement signed by Mr John Abdulai Jinapor, Presidential Spokesperson in Accra on Thursday and copied to Ghana News Agency said President John Mahama has tasked Dr Omane-Boamah to ensure Ghana's successful preparation and participation in the tournament.
The 2013 African Nations Cup opens on January 19 and ends on February 10.
