 New Currency
Award- winning journalist Ajoa Yeboah-Afari, although better known as a media personality, is also a published creative writer. New currency is her fifth book. The fourth, Conversations With My Father, a biography of her father, Mr. B. Yeboah-Afari, Ghana's first minster of Agriculture(and Brong- Ahafo's first Regional Commissioner), won first prize in the 2019 Ghana Association of Writers Literary Awards in the 'Creative Non-Fiction' category. The others are: The Best Of Yaa Yaa, a collection of articles from an earlier Mirror column; The Second of Pestles, a collection of short stories; and A decade of Thoughts of a Native Daughter, volume 1, a collection of articles from her column.
