All-African People's Conference
Conference Information
The Kwame Nkrumah Pan-African Centre and the Pan-African Federalist Movement are organising to mark AAPC@60, the 60th Anniversary of the All-African People's Conference in December 2018. In December 1958, Kwame Nkrumah convened the All-African People's Conference to consider critically the questions of African liberation and unity. Over 60 activist groups, Freedom fighter organisations, liberation movements and trade unions from 28 countries from all over the world attended the Conference and it had massive impact on the liberation struggle.
But the second leg, namely African unity is yet to be achieved. So the commemoration and subsequent strategic seesions are meant to reignite the African unity flame and organise a grassroots effort towards that.
