JOB FUNCTIONS

• Instituting financial controls (including end of day, end of month procedures) that are aimed to ensure integrity of financial data capturing and aide in the process for regular reconciliations.


• Working with team managers (Operations Manager, Snr QS, Procurement Coordinator etc.) to complete duties as needed.


• Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans


• Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information


• Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted


• Prepare payroll and maintain related payroll records and reports.


• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.


• Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets


• Responsible for the administration of petty cash; reconciling and replenishing as needed.


• Overseeing and handling the creation and approval of all project-related billings to customers to foster good communication and avoid issues


• Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company


• Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payment


• Effectively and clearly communicate potential financial risks in a timely manner and ensuring compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations


• Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs


• Prepare statutory payments (SSNIT, PAYE, & Withholding tax) and ensuring that receipts for such payments are duly received and filed


• Verification of suppliers invoices (authentication) before approval is done


• Processing cheques / payment orders for supplies and keep proper records of such payments


• Perform and review reconciliations for bank & cash balances; debtors; suppliers; inventory and control accounts


• Ensure that all company assets on all construction sites and company facilities are well labeled while maintaining and updating fixed asset register and fixed asset movement schedule


• Perform all other functions as assigned
