Qualifications
Plan, organize, direct, and control the accounting operations across the country.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Coordinate the preparation of audited financial statements, including reports for the national headquarters, churches, hospitals, and other social services.
Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Oversee and coordinate training programs for accounting and finance staff across the territory.
Provide leadership and guidance to accounting teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reporting.
Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as required.
Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making by management.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Master's or equivalent qualification in Finance/accounting, Management sciences
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in team leading and supervision, preferably in a Financial/accounting institution.
Good knowledge of IT and accounting tools (MS Office, Excel, TSA Financial Systems)
Fully qualified member of ACCA, CIMA, or the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
Must have in-depth knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
