JOB PURPOSE:

The successful candidate shall be responsible for planning and directing the activities of the finance and accounting department. The role reports to the CEO.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.


• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year. 


• Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.


• Process payroll and ensure payment of statutory deductions/payments for the organization and staff.


• Accomplish human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, coaching; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job duties of team members.
