Description
A reputable firm in Ghana is looking for a MANAGER to immediately handle its branch office in Kumasi. The Branch Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring effective delivery of work and also meeting office tasks successfully in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Will recommend Hiring and Training for the staff to the Head office.
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the branch.
- With the assistance of the HR Manager, conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.
- Collaborates with Head office and or other branch managers to set reasonable targets or goals.
- Collaborates with Head office to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
- Shall be responsible for the initiation of business strategies that will drive sales and align with the overall business plan of the company.
- Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
- Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients and defaulters, demonstrating excellent customer care.
- Collaborates with Head office regarding advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
- Shall be required to submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other reports to the management board at the Head office.
- Shall be responsible for reporting and interpreting the financial position of the branch to the Head office.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
