. QUALITY PLANNING AND DOCUMENTATION (ASSURANCE - QA) Develop QMS Documentation: Create, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Manuals in line with company policy, contract requirements, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Material Submittals: Review and approve all material submittals, vendor data, and technical specifications to ensure they meet the design and contract requirements before procurement or use on site. Method Statements: Review and approve all construction method statements to ensure quality and safety considerations are integrated into the work process. Coordinate Audits: Participate in and coordinate internal and external quality audits. 2. SITE INSPECTION AND TESTING (CONTROL - QC) Daily Inspections: Conduct rigorous daily site inspections of ongoing work to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., concrete pours, formwork, rebar fixing, blockwork, finishing). Material Inspection: Oversee the inspection and testing of all incoming materials (e.g., cement, aggregates, steel, pipes) to ensure they meet specified quality standards and provide the necessary certification. Inspection Requests (IRs): Prepare and submit formal Inspection Requests to the Client/Consultant for approval of completed work stages. 3. NON-CONFORMANCE AND CORRECTIVE ACTION Identify and Report: Promptly identify, document, and report any non-conforming work, materials, or processes using a formal Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system. Root Cause Analysis: Participate in or lead the investigation of non-conformances to determine the root cause. Corrective Actions: Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure non-conformances are resolved and do not recur. Quality Records: Maintain a complete, organized, and traceable system of all quality records, including inspection reports, test results, calibration certificates, NCRs, and site instructions.
