Insight HR Solutions is mandated by one of its clients to recruit a Manager – Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting for immediate employment. The office will be located in Accra.
Job Purpose:
The Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting Manager is a senior member of the Finance team with expertise in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, preparing financial reports for various stakeholders, managing Group’s financial planning process, accounting and analytical support for complex financial transactions and considering the accounting implications of business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
The Finance Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of policies and programmes for the effective management and control of the Planning, Analysis and Reporting functions.
Key areas of focus include, but not limited to:
- Management reports including analyses
- Annual Audits
- Board reporting
- Fixed Assets
- Chart of Accounts and GL Management
- Consolidation
- IFRS’s (research and application)
- Budgets and forecasting
- Company valuations (Assessment for impairment)
- Maintain stationery and office supplies
Authority (decisions this job has delegated authority to make or recommend)
- Create new processes to improve turnaround time for capturing entries, reconciliations, managing day to day transactions, producing financial outputs and improving general efficiency of the overall Finance function.
Resources Managed (budget, purchases, other assets)
- Assign tasks and monitor performance of direct reports and staff assigned to projects
- Fixed Asset Register
