1. Strategic & Financial Management: Ability to lead a turnaround strategy, manage liquidity, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, capital adequacy, and profitability (NIM, ROA, ROE, cost-to-income).
2. Credit & Risk Governance: Deep expertise in credit policy design, underwriting standards, pricing, portfolio monitoring, delinquency management, recoveries, provisioning, and write-offs.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:Strong working knowledge of microfinance regulatory requirements in Ghana, including KYC/AML, SARs, reporting, audit, and risk committee governance.
4. Operational Excellence & Technology:Capability to optimize end-to-end loan lifecycle processes, implement data governance, analytics dashboards, management reporting, and operational controls.
5. Performance Management: Ability to establish KPIs, cascading targets, accountability frameworks, and performance dashboards across the organization.
6. Stakeholder & Funding Management: Proven capacity to engage regulators, lenders, partners, and community stakeholders; negotiate funding facilities and partnerships.
7. People & Culture Leadership: Ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing teams, implement succession planning, and foster a mission-driven, ethical culture.
