Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; a professional qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance and administration experience, preferably within a distribution, trading, or import/export environment. Demonstrable experience handling import documentation, customs clearance financials, and freight cost management within an international trade or supply chain context. Proficiency in Sage, Pastel, or a comparable accounting software platform, with strong management accounting and financial reporting skills. Highly compliant, detail-oriented, and process-driven with proven experience managing external audits and implementing strong internal financial controls.

1. Oversee all financial operations including management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior leadership.


2. Manage all import-related financial documentation — letters of credit, customs duties, freight invoices, and clearing costs — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency.


3. Establish and strengthen financial controls, internal processes, and administrative systems to build operational structure within a growing distribution setup.


4. Lead the administration function, overseeing office operations, vendor management, compliance with statutory obligations, and coordination of external audits.


5. Maintain and manage the company's accounting systems (Sage/Pastel), ensuring data integrity, timely reconciliations, and audit-ready financial records at all times.
