Job Description
• Prepare regular portfolio management reports
• Responsible for day-to-day management of portfolios
• Responsible for performance, oversight and reporting for portfolios
• Plan, design and implement investment strategies for portfolios
• Preparation of investment policy statements
• Preparation of portfolio risk models
• Design active portfolio management strategies
• Perform investment analysis for multi asset portfolios
• Presentations to institutional /retail clients on their portfolios
• Trading in clients’ portfolios
• Ensure portfolios returns beat expected benchmarks
• Prepare credit assessment reports on various issuers
• Prepare portfolio presentations reports for retail and institutional clients
• Perform an integral role in ensuring investment committee meetings are data and analysis driven such that it forms the basis for investment decision making Identify opportunities in the market for value addition to clients’ portfolios
• Assist management on specific projects as directed especially with respect to new product development and analysis of impact of specific programmes on revenue
• Additional or other performance targets for you and the team may be set out in your performance appraisal contract by your supervisor
