The role will comprise of overseeing the daily operations of the 31 guest rooms, providing strategic direction, planning and managing staff and ensuring profit growth. The ideal candidate must be adaptable and ready to take on the challenge. Must also provide a strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation.

• Lead/drive growth and strategy of the lodge per approved plan 


• Plan and supervise bar, ground hire and conference activities 


• Coordinate general management of facility


•  Ensure the lodge adheres to all national and local by-laws and regulations 


• Oversee recruitment, training and supervision of staff.  


• Prioritize, assess and review customer satisfaction  


• Provide regular written progress reports for Proprietors per schedule to be agreed eg monthly 


• Ability to work flexible hours
