As an I.T Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with stakeholders to drive project success. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, objectives, and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Foster effective collaboration and manage expectations.
Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities. Provide guidance, support, and resources to team members as needed.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess project risks, and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to maintain project deliverables and timelines.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability. Prepare accurate budget reports for management and clients.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality results by overseeing testing, quality control, and ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed client requirements.
Change Management: Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and objectives, while assessing the impact on the project and making necessary adjustments.
Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and other relevant documents.
Procurement: Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes, including contracts, negotiations, and performance evaluations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for project management.
