We are looking to recruit an experienced and competent individual for the position of Faculty Assistant, reporting to the Head of Department / Dean.

Through a technology-enabled curriculum, students gain deep expertise in financial technology, corporate finance, banking operations, risk management, and financial markets. Key Responsibilities
- Assist faculty in preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and assessments.
- Support students in understanding core concepts in finance and economics, including risk management, banking operations, corporate finance, financial markets, and econometrics.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects in a timely and fair manner.
- Conduct or support tutorial sessions, group discussions, and academic review classes.
- Maintain up-to-date academic records and monitor student participation and progress.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, industry talks, and field visits.
- Support the development and updating of teaching materials, case studies, and presentations.
- Hold office hours to provide mentoring and academic support to students.
- Provide assistance in faculty-led research, data collection, and basic data analysis.
- Support classroom and LMS (Learning Management System) activities, including uploading materials and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or Economics or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CFA) or Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of core topics in banking, finance, and economics, including financial markets, portfolio analysis, international trade finance, econometrics, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching assistance, or academic support is an advantage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (MS Excel) and interest in learning financial and statistical tools (e.g., Bloomberg, STATA, SPSS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.
